Dialog Enterprise Sponsors the National Industry Exhibition and Awards Ceremony 2022

Accelerating the recovery of Sri Lankan industries and SMEs in the new normal, Dialog Enterprise powered the ‘National Industry Exhibition and Awards Ceremony 2022 as the Title Sponsor, which was held from February 3rd – 6th at BMICH featuring a range of entrepreneurs and SME exhibitors from various industries.

The National Industry Exhibition 2022 was inaugurated in the presence of Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries, Hon. Prasanna Ranaweera, State Minister of Rattan, Brass, Pottery, Furniture and Rural Industrial Promotion, Navin Pieris, Group Chief Officer, Dialog Enterprise, Channa Amarasekara, Head of Emerging Business, Dialog Axiata PLC, Nazeem Mohamed, Chief Executive Officer, Dialog Finance PLC and other dignitaries who graced the occasion.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Upasena Dissanayake, Chairman, Industrial Development Board said, “We are pleased to have conducted this four-day National Industry Exhibition as another successful step in the national programme launched to lay the foundation for a massive industrial revival in the country. This exhibition featuring over 300 stalls representing the 20 industrial sectors in the country was conducted to support industries and assist SMEs to recover from the adverse effects of the pandemic and was attended by over 20,000 visitors. Alongside Dialog Enterprise, Dialog Finance PLC and Dialog genie also powered the event as the Official FinTech Partner and Payment Partner, as a means of facilitating and encouraging Sri Lankan enterprises to digitally transform their businesses in this new normal through best-in-breed digital solutions.
