Manudam Mehewara Supports Over 120,000 Vulnerable Families Across Sri Lanka to Date

Launched to support vulnerable families and communities across the country amidst the ongoing economic crisis, the Manudam Mehewara initiative announced the successful distribution of emergency relief to over 120,000 families in-need across all 25 districts of the country to date.

The Manudam Mehewara initiative is a multi-corporation humanitarian alliance initiated by Dialog Axiata PLC, MAS Holdings, Hemas Holdings PLC, Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement, and PwC Sri Lanka, with the support of corporate partners CBL Group, Citibank, Sunshine Holdings PLC, Huawei Technologies Lanka Co., Pvt Ltd, Unilever Sri Lanka, and corporate donors London Stock Exchange Group and Roar Global.

The shared mission of the Manudam Mehewara programme is to support vulnerable families and communities across the country until a sustainable benefit transfer system is established through an effective economic recovery plan. The initiative invites all Sri Lankans and corporates to join its shared mission and help make a difference.
