Award for Game Changer of the Year

Award for ‘Game Changer of the Year’ presented by Navin Pieris, Group Chief Officer - Dialog Enterprise to Randhula De Silva, CEO of the Good Life X Founder.

Celebrating the extraordinary leaders across industries, who continue to make a monumental impact, Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, once again joined hands as the Platinum Sponsor for the 11th edition of the ‘Top50’ Professional and Career Women Awards, organized by Women in Management (WIM) and International Finance Corporation under the IFC-DFAT Women in Work programme.

Valuing legacies which in turn inspire others, the awarding body has recognised over 470 past award winners over the years, representing a wide array of professionals in banking and finance, hospitality, media, legal, logistics, supply chain and more. The ‘Top50’ Professional and Career Women Awards demonstrates the significant role women play in bringing about transformational change as employees, entrepreneurs, and business leaders - demonstrating that gender equality is not only a social and moral imperative but that it also makes business sense.

At Dialog, great emphasis is placed on providing women the supportive platforms needed to succeed in all their endeavours. Accordingly, one such example of Dialog’s commitment to the welfare and empowerment of women is the free, trilingual platform Yeheli.lk/Thozhi.lk, which is Sri Lanka’s only anonymous, personalised and interactive advisory service for individuals to connect with qualified virtual advisors or confidants in a safe and trusted space to learn about and discuss a range of sensitive topics. Dialog is also the proud sponsor of the Women’s National Cricket Team of Sri Lanka as well as the Sri Lanka National Netball, Senior Netball, and Junior Netball Teams. The Company also has close ties with the Dialog National and Junior National Netball Championship and is working together with its brand ambassadors, Umaria Sinhawansa, Senali Fonseka, Madhuvy Vaithialingam and Chamari Atapattu to create a culture of female empowerment and inclusivity across its footprint.

Launched in March 2011 by WIM, ‘The Professional & Career Women Awards’ celebrates the achievements of remarkable women who inspire those around them – either through the media, through their astounding achievements in their careers, businesses, or everyday lives. The annual event is an uplifting and emotional award ceremony where women are celebrated as equals.
