Frequently asked questions
A customer needs to have a 5G capable mobile phone that is compatible with Dialog's 5G network and a 4G compatible SIM (USIM), whilst also being within one of the 5G trial coverage areas. If a customer is using an old SIM which does not support 4G, then it needs to be upgraded.

Data consumed while on 5G will be free during the trial period. However, if the device moves to a 4G coverage area while on the data session, the quota used on 4G will be charged as per the normal tariff rates applicable to the connection.
We have already activated 5G on identified customer devices which have 5G compatibility at the time of launch of the 5G network. These customers have received an SMS informing them of the trial service activation. However, if you have connected the device to the 5G network recently, you can request for the service to be activated via the web portal by selecting your device model and entering your mobile number. Our technical teams will validate the devices compatibility and activate the service within 72 hours.
Yes, you can now enjoy the full experience of Dialog's 5G trial network. For seamless 5G connectivity, we highly recommend updating your iOS device to the latest version, iOS 17 or newer.
